Donor Projects
If you’re willing to, you can chip-in towards completion any of works listed here, or start up your own donor project, by sending me a proposition by mail (biribiri.bh@gmail.com) and commissioning few chapters. Please respect my and your time and include in first mail as much details about your commission as possible and if possible, include a link to a downloadable source.
Option for organized groups, like sharing portals etc who want to share it on their own (or with a good reason). If you wish for a private commission (I translate and provide only you with the source), then please state that clearly in your mail (add a line like “I want a private commission of this book” or in mail’s topic add “Private Commission”). Be aware that I will send those works to people who work with me — like proofreaders/editors for translation-related purposes only. Note that private commissions are handled differently than standard ones and also, that if anybody else commissions the same work from me at later date, I may re-use those works. I’m not a fan of doing stuff for private, so consider taking public commission if you don’t have a reason for it being private for the sake of community.
Note: Be sure to send me the best possible raws, because I don’t search for additional sources and delivering poor quality scans can result in declining order – it concerns both public and private donors. UPDATE: I generally don’t work on scans that are watermarked (all pages watermarked – single scanner watermark in one place is perfectly fine).
If I like a book, I may translate the first chapter for free to give it some exposure and leave the rest up to donors. Note that you can ask for oneshots or doujins as well. Price is variable depending on how many text there is and if there are some colored pages and will be published when stacking up new basket. Stakes are from ~$1 to $1.5 (USD) depending on amount of work needed to be done (translating and editing). Note that if any donation goal is reached, donations are being considered as donations for next chapter of book in question, or if it was last chapter, donor can either choose other donor project to support, or leave it as a tip. I’d also appreciate if you include at least one chapter of thing you want me to translate (in original quality) either as attachment or dl-link — try avoiding troublesome hosts — it speeds up and saves me trouble with trying to download them, you can also use e-hentai links if you wish (you might need to re-upload it outside for translation though).
Remember that you can order oneshots form Comic Books like LO, Rin Masyo, Hotmilk or whichever you wish and doujins!!!
Just remember to send me exact source – take chapter from compendium, pack and send only that. I also can take orders, like “Do <put artist here> from <put books here>”, but you have to wait up to a week for my response in that case.

Quick explanation – numbers in brackets stands for funds raised so far for listed entry. I won’t be adding notifications about chapter status here, just look @ recent projects for more info. Also – donated projects are top priority over freebies.
REMEMBER that I’m NOT going to start working on your order until I received complete payment, there are no exceptions.
Donations without specified chapters are being considered as donations to next untranslated chapters in line (choosing chapters valid only for non-serialized manga).
NOTE:I’m going to close projects that are stalled for prolonged time – depending on current situation, around 4~6months since last donation. It’s so that project can be taken up by other groups. Don’t worry – I’m going to give information beforehand about that and projects can be re-opened at any time by interested donors.

I don’t put things as active projects – donors do that. If there shows up a donor who’s willing to commission initiative part of the book (I’d have to check that book again, looking at it as at a possible project, but most probably at least 3 chapters) and he’s ok with waiting for first release few weeks, then I’d probably take it up.
I cannot but notice that some covers (the more lolish) have acquired censoring. Has it something to do with lolicon suddenly being found illegal in Sweden, by any chance?

Nope, it has to do with switching servers and admin asking if I could censor/get rid of the nude images shouting “underage” on the blog. No change though – it’s only on previews and covers are not necessary, they’re here only to make recognition of projects simpler for donors. It may not look the nicest, but it doesn’t matter much.
Thanks for explaining that issue. I was pretty sure it was something similar to that fact, but I wanted to wait for you to tell for sure.
May i request either Hajimete no Hatsujo-ki, Masegaki Kids or Sodachizakari No Kiken Na Toshigoro? They are all made by [Low]… i have all of them, but there are currently only old dog rewrites of them, and no real translation of them… im willing to donate for these works…

I moved your comment to more appropriate place. As written here – I take commission questions only by mail and with included specified book/chapter/doujin. I’m unable to answer to queries like “I want any of the books made by that guy”, because I price everything individually. In addition, while asking for new project you should:
1) be prepared to commission few chapters at once for new books (usually two-three) that are full length or more, that equal it (differs for books)
2) use e-mail, I don’t respond to questions asked through blog
3) donate beforehand – I never start doing anything before I receive transfer for everything
4) be ready to wait – while I try to release things asap, I can’t release everything at once, so you’ll need to wait for your commission
5) how about checking out ongoing projects as well? or enjoying my releases in the meantime?

There’s no convenient link because unfortunately, there’s pricks out there that would report the site affiliated with said Paypal link and have Biri’s account locked indefinitely. I’m sure you’ve heard of that happening to various other translators at least.

You can just click “DONATE” link under any project you’re interested in, that creates a pre-filled e-mail with my address and title that already explains me what you’re interested in. Then, I respond with automated response that contains all the details and preferred way of sending transfer. It’s as easy as that. Afro explained part of the reasons I didn’t put a convenient donate button, the rest is silence ;)

I know, I have it. I’m waiting for some people to make their decisions right now, before making it a donor project. We’re going to make the other chapter directly from tank scans and those other 2 chapters that are out will be re-edited as well.
Well, I dropped Nora Sis cause it was just too much money to invest in a project that had already been completely scanlated. At first, I wanted to continue as Saha had only released 3 chapters and it was labeled as a “Joint Project” in the initial post. We all know how most of Saha’s “Joint Projects” end up (see Minion’s Virgin Forced Climax, multiple Gorgeous Takarada tanks, and Sakurafubuki Nel’s tank – I’ve been waiting YEARS for these to be finished). Saha also didn’t level the scans and left out some background text, so I figured that we’d go ahead with biri’s version and any potential donors might side with ours. Shortly after that I guess Kaze343 decided to just pay for the whole tank himself and then Saha did what he does best (release material fast).
So their full tank came out and most loli fans probably read it, and I read it too even though I told myself not to (hey, I’m a weak man). I found the plot kinda bland and boring, the characters were cute but overall I felt disappointed with the overall tank.
So, there I was with about $100 invested that hadn’t been used, and about $130 left to pay with no hope of any help (I don’t expect people to donate to a tank that was already scanlated elsewhere, I know I probably wouldn’t). I was left with the decision, should I sink $230 into a manga that was already translated and that I thought was mediocre, or take the money I have left on Nora Sis and put it toward one of the other dozens of tanks I want done. So, I chose to drop it. Plus, I think most people would rather read new manga than re-read something they read months ago. I really wish things didn’t turn out this way. Trust me, it sucks getting your project sniped when you’ve invested money into it.
The Murian tank coming out now was just a fortunate coincidence for me. You guys probably know that I’m really interested in it, but I had actually made the decision to drop Nora Sis before it came out. It had no bearing in my decision, in fact, I had a different manga picked out that I was going to propose to biri, but when I saw that the Murian tank came out I promptly changed my mind (I had already commissioned 3 chapters from it before it came out).
Sorry for the long post, but I thought I owed people an explanation. One of the main reasons I wanted to commission manga in the first place was to give back to the community which had given me so much throughout the years. I hope you guys enjoy the new Murian! Plus remember, ero-manga scanlation is serious fucking business!!!

Sorry that your first commission ended in such a farked up way. I totally understand dropping the project though, under the circumstances. I’m going to see about throwing some money at the Murian tank as a way of thanking you for your effort with Nora Sis.

Thank you Zathael. Believe me, your help is very much appreciated. You’ve always been one of my favorite commissioners over the years (I love the mangas you pick).
I’m also positive that this Murian tank will be really good. Usually, even in tanks I like, I’m only interested in half the chapters, but for this Murian tank, I have interest in every single chapter. I actually had a really hard time picking which chapters to commission first.
BTW, for anybody interested, there is still one chapter of Nora Sis biri will release in the future. It’s the one with the soccer playing reverse trap (ch.10). It was my favorite chapter from the tank so I asked biri to work on it first (and now, with the way things turned out, I’m really glad I did).
Wow, I didn’t expect kaze343 to donate to my project, but thanks man, I really appreciate it. I also appreciate you spending the money for Nora Sis. Yeah, I was kinda bitter about it for awhile, but now that I’ve moved on, I actually enjoyed the manga quite a bit. Hopefully this will lead us into a new era of cooperation and proper communication. We really need like an official forum for the ero-manga community where editors, translators, groups, and commissioners can announce the projects their doing so we don’t end up doing the same shit all the time (but that’s probably a pipe dream). Anyways, thanks for the help Zathael and kaze343, I’ll take care of the rest of the manga within a week or so.

as soon as i had seen the scans for the one your doing, i had remembered that Biri had said he was going to most likely end up doing it. first thing i did was toss an email, and your name came up. i had already decided that as soon as it was up for donations, i was putting in for it. Murian is too good to not do it. sorry about the whole nora sis fiasco, but with this, hopefully what you say can and will happen for future commissions.

I agree that there does need to be much better coordination over translations,there`s nothing more depressing than seeing the same story done twice because neither commissioner/translator new of the other or that the story had been done previously

No one has commented because this is not a “gig”. It is an art form, and a difficult one at that. Show some love for the players…they’ve earned it many times over…

Indeed, that book has one arc that is prequel-kind of thing, connected by one character and one situation. I had to look it up as well, to get few parts right in upcoming release ;)
EDIT: Ohta seem to jump between different stories as story progresses, so books are connected indeed.
